Something that may seem like a small difference to others can have a huge impact on confidence.

My lovely client has syndactyly (webbed toes) and had spent years feeling self-conscious about her feet. She avoided sandals, flip-flops and open-toe shoes because she simply didn’t feel comfortable showing her toes.

Using specialist realistic medical tattooing techniques, I created the illusion of two separate toes, carefully adding natural-looking definition, shadows, creases and nail detail to visually disguise the webbing.

The aim isn’t to physically change the foot — it’s a clever 3D optical illusion created entirely with tattooing. 👣

For the first time, she now feels confident enough to wear open-toe shoes and sandals without worrying about hiding her feet.
