MALE BREAST CANCER & 3D NIPPLE RECONSTRUCTION 🎗️
Breast cancer doesn’t only affect women. Men can be diagnosed too, and the physical and emotional impact of surgery can be just as significant.
My client came to me after undergoing breast cancer surgery and reconstruction. He had previously had nipple and areola tattooing carried out through the NHS, but unfortunately he wasn’t happy with the appearance or level of realism achieved.
He decided to seek out my expertise in advanced medical tattooing, with the aim of creating something that looked as natural and realistic as possible.
Using specialist tattooing techniques, colour matching, shading, highlights and carefully placed fine detail, I created full 3D hyper-realistic nipples and areolas.
Although the skin itself remains completely flat, clever use of light, shadow, texture and dimension creates the illusion of a naturally projecting nipple. From a normal viewing distance, the effect can be incredibly realistic.
For someone who has been through breast cancer, surgery and reconstruction, this final stage can mean far more than simply having a tattoo. It can help restore a sense of completeness and confidence in their body after treatment.
Medical tattooing is an area of my work that I’m incredibly passionate about. Every nipple and areola I create is completely bespoke — designed around the individual’s anatomy, skin tone, scarring and desired result.
🎗️ Male breast cancer deserves awareness too.
If you have undergone breast surgery or reconstruction and would like to discuss 3D nipple and areola tattooing, consultations are available in a completely private, professional and understanding environment.
